  • Develop disease education content and advocacy partnerships
  • Manage cross-functional review workflows and internal communications

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Director of Communications, providing regular updates on in-flight work, flagging emerging issues and opportunities, and contributing ideas to communications planning across the team.
  • Draft recurring corporate press releases – congress curtain raisers, clinical milestones (e.g., first patient dosed), corporate announcements, etc. – for review by the Director of U.S. Communications, and support regulatory, earnings, and financing releases as needed
  • Support releases through BridgeBio's press release review protocol: route drafts to reviewers, consolidate comments, track approvals against deadlines, and QC every detail
  • Support the path from draft to distribution across our owned channel ecosystem, including proof review, wire and Nasdaq timing, IR email alerts, website posting, and partner notifications, in coordination with Investor Relations and BD
  • Draft supporting materials for announcements, such as internal companywide emails, Board of Directors notes, partner notifications, and social copy
  • Support planning, keeping up to date, and executing BridgeBio's annual disease awareness calendar – Rare Disease Day, condition-specific awareness days and months, and key advocacy moments
  • Draft unbranded disease education content – explainers, carousels, short-form video scripts, fact sheets, and patient and caregiver stories – that helps patients, families, and clinicians recognize conditions earlier, and help move it through Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review
  • Help elevate patient, caregiver, and advocacy voices with appropriate consent, amplify advocacy partners' campaigns, and support community events and conferences on social
  • Support disease education campaigns and partnerships with agencies and external partners (e.g., documentaries, education films, creator content), including coordinating paid amplification and tracking performance
  • Help bring awareness moments inside the company through internal communications, employee social toolkits, office screens, and Lunch & Learns

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of communications experience in biotech, pharma, or healthcare, ideally including corporate communications at a public company – a combination of agency and in-house experience is a plus
  • A strong, fast writer – you can turn around a clean first draft of a press release, social post, or all-company email the same day, and you welcome edits as a way to learn our voice
  • Familiar with biotech newsflow – you've supported data releases, curtain raisers, or milestone announcements and understand how embargoes, Reg FD, and wire timing work
  • Experience supporting disease awareness and education – you've helped execute unbranded campaigns, worked with patient advocacy groups, and can translate complex science into content patients and clinicians understand; rare disease experience is a plus
  • Compliance-minded – you understand the promotional/non-promotional and branded/unbranded lines and have worked through MLR/Veeva or similar review processes
  • Hands-on with social and digital – you’ve managed corporate social channels, supported organic campaigns and partnered on paid, and are comfortable pulling and interpreting analytics
  • A collaborative cross–functional partner who can keep many reviewers moving without formal authority – you earn trust through reliability and follow-through
  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented – you track dozens of moving pieces, chase approvals without dropping threads, and catch the error before it goes live
  • A true team player who takes pride in execution – you've uploaded a press release to Globe Newswire, filed with Nasdaq, or scheduled a social post, and you know that doing those things well is what makes the bigger work land
  • Curious and proactive – you take initiative, ask good questions, bring ideas forward, and want to grow your scope over time
