Senior Manager, Audience Engagement, Google Cloud

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team, providing clear objectives and key results (OKRs), professional development, and day-to-day operational guidance.
• Cultivate a team environment that encourages innovation in how we reach our global audiences.
• Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to establish thought leadership for executive stakeholders.
• Translate complex business milestones into compelling stories that resonate with the global Google Cloud workforce.
• Drive global alignment on "Industry" narratives, ensuring the field understands how to position Google Cloud’s vertical-specific value propositions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 13 years of experience in corporate communications, field marketing, or strategy engagement within a global technology organization.
• 5 years of experience in people management.
• Experience supporting vice president-level executives or equivalent executive leadership.

Preferred

• Experience in change management and organizational communication strategy.
• Ability to manage large-scale internal portfolios (e.g., channels with 10k+ users).
• Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex technical Cloud concepts for a sales audience.
• Excellent investigative skills to track engagement metrics and translate data into actionable communication pivots.
