Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own website strategy, content architecture and optimizations for clients, including recommendations for new pages, content refreshes, landing pages, blog content, resource hubs and more.
  • Lead website projects and campaigns, adhering to the client’s brand & messaging guidelines, industry best practices, and broader campaign objectives, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support a cohesive, omnichannel approach.
  • Work closely with internal creative teams to design website mockups and supporting assets aligned with client brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Develop detailed landing page, blog and resource hub outlines that incorporate SEO, GEO, audience intent, campaign messaging and conversion goals to guide copywriting.
  • Coordinate website page-build execution with web development team and internal stakeholders, including timelines, functionality requirements, QA testing, tracking needs, launch checklists and post-launch optimization.
  • Conduct client and competitor website and brand visibility audits, identifying content gaps and opportunities for clients to develop unique, valuable content and reach high-quality audiences.
  • Develop GEO/AI search visibility frameworks, including prompt research and tracking, AI search audits, topic cluster recommendations, designed to improve brand presence in AI-generated responses.
  • Lead on-page and technical SEO recommendations, including metadata, heading structure, internal linking, schema markup, indexing considerations, redirects, page speed, Core Web Vitals and accessibility best practices.
  • Serve as the agency’s internal subject matter expert for GEO and AI search visibility, monitoring emerging best practices, LLM interface changes, AI search tools, algorithm updates and implications for client strategy.
  • Research and scope plugins, tools, and other programs to enhance website functionality, user experience, and support behavioral testing.
  • Develop and execute data-driven paid search strategies aligned with the client’s brand voice, target audience, and business goals.
  • Develop, manage, and report on paid search campaign budgets, allocating resources effectively to achieve brand goals.
  • Define website goals and KPIs, tagging needs, conversion events, UTM structures and reporting dashboards for clients.
  • Build client reporting dashboards and translate insights into actionable optimization recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to connect website content with broader campaign tactics, including paid search, paid social, influencer, email, and organic social.
  • Apply practical use of AI to day-to-day tasks, consistently seeking opportunities to streamline processes using internal agents and approved agency tools.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members through daily feedback and other professional development opportunities.
  • Assist with internal guidance to the team to ensure projects are strategically aligned with the client’s expectations and executed within budget and timeline.
