Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead High-Impact Analysis: Take on our most important business questions and drive them from initial hypothesis to concrete recommendation. You’ll dig into complex data, isolate what matters, and deliver clear takeaways that guide business decisions.
  • Drive Experimentation: Partner with marketing teams to design, run, and analyze A/B tests and holdout groups. You’ll measure true incremental lift, uncover how customers respond to promos and incentives, and help shape a testing roadmap focused on the highest-upside opportunities.
  • Build Smarter Segmentation: Turn behavioral and transactional data into clear audience segments. You’ll guide personalized targeting and ensure messages reach users at the moments that drive the highest engagement and return.
  • Shape Customer Data Infrastructure: Partner with MarTech, Engineering, and Product teams to define CDP tracking requirements, new user attributes, and data pipelines. You will help design the underlying data structures needed to power advanced lifecycle and personalization initiatives.
  • Measure Retention & Lifetime Value: Analyze repeat behavior, churn, and long-term customer value. Your findings will guide budget allocation across segments and channels to drive sustainable growth.
  • Communicate Insights & Align Teams: Translate technical analysis into straightforward recommendations for leadership. You’ll partner across Marketing, Business, Product, and Finance so everyone is aligned on how we measure marketing impact.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in marketing, growth, or product analytics, ideally in tech or a two-sided marketplace.
  • Experimentation track record: Hands-on experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests and incrementality lift studies.
  • Lifecycle & customer analytics: Practical experience analyzing direct customer touchpoints (email, push, in-app), with a track record of measuring which incentives genuinely drive repeat behavior.
  • Advanced measurement: Experience interpreting and applying outputs from measurement models (such as MMM, attribution frameworks, and lift tests) to guide strategic decisions.
  • Commercial impact: Proven ability to evaluate customer economics (retention curves, repeat rate, LTV, promotional ROI) and translate those metrics into business action.
  • Technical toolkit: Advanced SQL and experience building clear, functional dashboards in BI tools like Tableau, Domo, or Power BI. Python or R for data analysis is a strong plus.
  • Analytical judgment: You do not just pull data. You connect your findings directly to business decisions and marketing strategy.
  • Ownership: You take end-to-end accountability for your projects, move work forward without needing a strict checklist, and follow through until the business takes action.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly explain complex data, methodologies, and trade-offs to cross-functional partners and leadership.
  • AI fluency: Hands-on experience using AI tools (such as Claude, Cursor, or Copilot) to accelerate coding, automate analysis, and work more efficiently.
