Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Turn Academy course transcripts, lesson recordings, and webinars into social-ready posts and video clips.
  • Draft LinkedIn carousels, short-form scripts, and supporting assets for Academy evangelists to post on their personal accounts.
  • Produce LinkedIn carousels, short-form video scripts, asset packages, and draft post copy for Academy professors to review, finalise, and post in their own voice
  • Dig through long-form training to pull out the most valuable moments—finding clear hooks, fresh perspectives, and practical frameworks worth sharing.
  • Create and publish content to the HubSpot Academy YouTube channel.
  • Repurpose long-form recordings into YouTube Shorts and short-form clips optimised for social distribution.
  • Design and produce YouTube thumbnails that are on-brand and drive click-through.
  • Manage the YouTube publishing workflow including titles, descriptions, tags, and scheduling.
  • Help produce the Crystal Clear podcast by writing show notes and summaries, cutting social clips, and building promotional assets.
  • Adapt course material and evangelist content into fresh sections for Academy newsletters.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in content production, social media content creation, or a closely related role — ideally at a media company, or with an influencer or creator.
  • Strong writing skills — you can take complex material and distill it into clear, compelling copy that performs on LinkedIn and other social platforms.
  • Demonstrable experience producing LinkedIn carousels, short-form video content, or similar multi-format social assets using Canva.
  • Practical video editing skills using tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut — and a curiosity for AI-assisted editing tools like Runway.
  • Hands-on experience with YouTube publishing, including thumbnails, metadata optimisation, and Shorts. Familiarity with original programming formats for YouTube and social media is a plus.
  • Experience working with remote recording formats (e.g. Riverside) and collaborating with designers and copywriters to bring static content to life.
  • A sharp eye for what makes long-form content shareable — you can quickly spot the core insight in a 45-minute video and know how to clip it.
  • Strong project management instincts — you can manage multiple asset types, multiple stakeholders, and multiple deadlines without dropping things.
  • A genuine interest in marketing, sales, AI, or business education — you'll be working with this content every day.
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage ambiguity in a fast-moving team.

Preferred

  • Experience working with or producing content for personal brand profiles or individual creators, rather than corporate brand channels.
  • While a second language is not required, experience working with or producing content across multiple languages or for international teams (to support our global professor network) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot products or the HubSpot Academy ecosystem
  • Understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) or how to structure content for LLM visibility — we will train the right person on this
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate content production workflows
