Own the WF+ content programming strategy across VIZIO WF+ using data, tooling, and research to optimize carousels, scheduling, and discovery, while collaborating across teams on best practices and competitive alignment.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Merchandise and execute the programming strategy across WF+ utilizing all available tools, data, and research for VIZIO WF+.
  • Track and optimize all WF+ content priorities across the service.
  • Make recommendations on carousels and storefront optimization to reduce friction for the audience.
  • Test and analyze data to support the success of the programming strategy.
  • Collaborate on programming best practices and strategies.
  • Perform competitive analysis to ensure programming strategy is aligned with VIZIO’s goals and content initiatives.
  • Familiarity and interest in AI to help support and optimize content scheduling and discovery.
  • Execute special projects including back-up scheduling for our FAST Channels.

Requirements

  • Experience (FAST/AVOD/OTT/SVOD) with a recent focus on content programming and strategy.
  • You have direct experience in programming and scheduling with a CMS (Content Management Systems), especially for FAST Digital Linear Channels/AVOD/VOD.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with a working knowledge of Air Table and are systems savvy.
  • You have excellent project management skills with proven ability to work effectively with cross functional teams with an emphasis on strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Broad knowledge and passion for pop culture, TV, film content, and either own or have access to a smart TV.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, communications, or related area. Option 2: 2 years’ experience in eCommerce, retail operations, or related area.
  • 2 years’ experience in SQL, Python, or Looker.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with programming En Español content and/or Spanish speaking is a plus.
