Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for practice area and location pages
• Conduct keyword research focused on California legal search trends
• Optimize website architecture, metadata, internal linking, and on-page content
• Perform technical SEO audits and coordinate fixes with developers
• Manage local SEO initiatives, including Google Business Profile optimization and citation management
• Monitor rankings, traffic, and lead generation performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms
• Collaborate with attorneys and content writers to create optimized blog articles and landing pages
• Analyze competitor strategies and identify opportunities for growth
• Build and maintain ethical backlink acquisition campaigns
• Track algorithm updates and recommend proactive SEO adjustments

Requirements

• Proficiency in Keyword Research and knowledge of search intent
• Experience performing SEO Audits to identify issues and opportunities
• Ability to execute Link Building strategies to improve domain authority
• Strong skills in On-Page SEO practices, including optimization of content, metadata, and HTML
• Understanding of Web Analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to analyze traffic and performance data
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience in the legal industry or working with law firms is a plus
• Knowledge of content management systems and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs) is beneficial
• Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
