Job Summary

Own resident life storytelling and salon marketing across two communities with content creation, social media, and online reputation tasks that affect visibility and engagement.

  • Social and content ownership: Run Facebook pages, highlight life events, and feature residents and staff.
  • Local visibility: Create online content, monitor Google reviews, and refresh website/news content for local SEO impact.
  • Coordinate events, admissions support, and marketing efforts to showcase community life.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional haircuts, styling, shampoo/set services, and grooming services for residents
  • Maintain salon schedules at both New Castle Nursing & Rehab and Twin Oaks Assisted Living
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming salon experience
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional salon environment
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and families
  • Manage Facebook and social media accounts for both communities
  • Create engaging content highlighting resident life, celebrations, activities, employee recognition, and special events
  • Capture photos and videos of approved events and activities
  • Develop resident spotlight stories and employee recognition features
  • Assist with community events, admissions activities, and marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • Current Kentucky Cosmetology License
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for serving older adults
  • Comfortable using smartphones, social media platforms, and basic computer applications
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities

Preferred

  • Experience working in senior living, healthcare, or customer service
  • Social media management experience
  • Photography, Canva, graphic design, or content creation experience
  • Marketing or community relations experience
