You will own the end-to-end content generation and community engagement for the studio, coordinating social media, on-site shoots, outreach partnerships, and family enrollment support across events and programs.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Media & Visual Content Creation
  • On-Site Content Capture: Attend studio events, setup days, and selected class times to capture high-quality photos and short-form video content for Instagram and Facebook.
  • Design Collateral: Create engaging promotional graphics, opening announcements, event materials, and flyers using Canva while following established brand guidelines.
  • Campaign Support: Assist with scheduling and publishing content through Meta Business Suite, monitor inquiries and engagement, and review post performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • School & Community Outreach
  • School & Community Partnerships: Conduct outreach to local Miami-Dade schools, PTAs, community organizations, and other potential partners to introduce Children’s Art Classes, share promotional materials, and identify opportunities for community partnerships.
  • Community Promotion: Participate in supervised outreach activities to distribute promotional materials and grand opening invitations to local schools, community centers, libraries, and family-oriented businesses throughout Kendall and surrounding areas.
  • Outreach Tracking: Maintain organized records of outreach activities, contacts, follow-ups, and responses to help measure the effectiveness of community outreach efforts.
  • Client Engagement & Registration Support
  • Family Engagement: Greet prospective families during studio tours and special events, provide information about upcoming programs, and assist with grand opening registration activities.

Requirements

  • WIOA Program Eligibility: Must be eligible to participate in the WIOA Out-of-School Youth (OSY) Program through CareerSource South Florida. Program eligibility is a prerequisite for this internship and will be determined by CareerSource South Florida.
  • Interest in arts education, marketing, communications, community outreach, or business administration.
  • Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Canva, or similar digital platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and comfort interacting professionally with families, community partners, and school representatives.
  • Ability to take initiative, stay organized, and follow through on assigned projects and outreach activities while working under supervision.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred
