Job Description

Responsibilities

Conduct market mapping and merchant landscape research within assigned regional markets
Develop and maintain merchant intelligence databases to support market prioritization, outreach planning, and regional growth strategy
Analyze local restaurant clusters, merchant categories, competitive conditions, and regional growth opportunities
Research merchant technology usage, digital presence, and market positioning
Prepare market reports and opportunity assessments for internal growth planning
Support business development teams with merchant intelligence and pipeline insights
Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements to regional growth processes

Requirements

Valid U.S. work authorization; international students with valid work authorization may apply

Preferred

Interest or experience in business analytics, data analytics, economics, finance, statistics, marketing analytics, operations, or consulting
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to organize information and translate findings into business recommendations
Clear written communication and presentation skills
Comfortable using online research tools, spreadsheets, maps, business directories, and review platforms
Exposure to restaurant, retail, SaaS, POS, payment, or fintech industries is a plus
Professional communication ability in English and Mandarin Chinese
