Job Summary

Own activation and field-market execution for national accounts, translating strategy into local programs with accountability for growth, ROI, and cross-team alignment.

  • Activation & JBP ownership: plan and execute joint business plans with top customers to drive volume and share.
  • Cross-functional enablement: translate national strategy into local tools, promotions, and newsletters with sales and account teams.
  • Measurement & optimization: track ROI, use Salesforce and Power BI to surface growth opportunities and performance gaps.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead activation planning and implementation of Joint Business Plans (JBP) for top customers in the assigned area.
  • Influence the development and execution of marketing trade programs that support assigned account priorities and business objectives.
  • Partner with Central Marketing to build brand awareness through social media, regional sponsorships, and events.
  • Develop and execute activation tactics to increase sales volume and market share across assigned accounts and prospects.
  • Communicate and activate seasonal promotions and offers for partnered accounts.
  • Maintain alignment with RAM, ROM, Directors, through regular meetings, performance updates and feedback loops.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (ROM, RAM, Directors) to drive national/regional sales and margin growth.
  • Enable and influence local teams, providing both informal and formal guidance and timely feedback.
  • Own individual and national/regional sales targets, including volume, margin, execution and customer growth goals.
  • Provide actionable insights and feedback to AN and Central Marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Agriculture, or business-related field plus 3-5 years of industry experience; or, an equivalent of 7+ years of successful work experience in industry or marketing experience.
  • Understand key business drivers, and connect activation priorities to profitable growth.
  • Ability to see the “big picture” (Vital Few emphasis) of the organization, understands business key drivers, and connect activation priorities to produce profitable growth.
  • Proactive communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and formal presentation skills.
  • Trustworthy with a strong level of personal commitment.
  • Ability to make quality decisions, prioritize work, and execute in a matrixed, fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage productivity.
  • Experience demonstrating agility and leading/adapting quickly to change.
  • Technical feed and agriculture product expertise with the ability to educate and influence others on products, services, and activation programs.
  • Ability to leverage data to inform activation priorities and measure impact.
