Job Description

Goldberg Segalla LLP, a national law firm with more than 23 offices in 11 states, has an immediate opportunity for a Recruiting Coordinator in its Buffalo office. The Recruiting Coordinator will provide administrative and recruitment support to the Human Resources Recruiting team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide recruitment coordination support, including but not limited to applicant tracking, applicant pre-screening, and sourcing diverse candidate pools for open positions throughout the Firm.
  • Post open positions to the Firms Applicant Tracking System and career search engines, and update job postings on a regular basis.
  • Post open positions on the Firm’s Careers page and approved job boards.
  • Schedule interviews, reserve conference rooms, schedule phone screens and debrief meetings with managers and interview teams.
  • Follow up with managers and interview teams to determine next steps for the candidate.
  • Follow up with candidates regarding candidacy status and outcome of interview process.
  • Ensure candidate records are complete and the recruitment process is accurately tracked and closed out by utilizing the Firms Applicant Tracking System for recruitment administration.
  • Compiles and prepares reports on recruitment activities.
  • Assist colleagues and hiring managers with basic to moderately complex recruitment issues (i.e., Applicant Tracking System technical support and assistance, updates on candidate status in process). Provides prompt and highly responsive customer service to inquiries and requests.
  • Processes and tracks billing statements/invoices.
  • Assists with marketing initiatives, including ads, Internet postings, etc.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, as well as Firm policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
  • Performs other administrative tasks such as filing, sorting and scanning.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate’s degree plus minimum of 2 years of administrative and/or recruiting experience.
  • Demonstrates human resources experience and/or strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable interacting professionally and confidently with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional attitude and customer service skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in English
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Regularly required to observe and assess data and documents, in printed form and on computer screens
  • May be requested to work beyond normal work hours and weekends for special projects
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently within general guidelines and minimal supervision
  • Ability to recognize the need for confidentiality of information and to maintain such confidences
  • Ability to respond to internal or external inquiries, including those of a sensitive, confidential, or adversarial nature
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in English
  • Strong organization and time management skills

BENEFITS:
The salary range for this position is $55,000- $65,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also offers bonuses, and a full benefits package.
