Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute media relations strategies to secure coverage in regional and top-tier publications.
- Drive thought leadership campaigns that position the firm as an industry innovator across the sector(s).
- Meet regularly with studio leaders in the respective region to ensure support of industry events, social media, and external engagement.
- Partner with the marketing team to support conferences, speaking engagements, and award submissions.
- Maintain and grow relationships with local media contacts and industry influencers.
- Attend and represent the firm at industry events to strengthen visibility and networking opportunities.
- Monitor PR performance metrics and provide regular reporting to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in PR, preferably in architecture, design, or professional services.
- Proven success in media relations and thought leadership initiatives.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Preferred
- Established relationships with West Coast media outlets and industry organizations across design, architecture, and real estate.
- Experience supporting industry conferences and award programs.
- Strategic thinker with a creative approach to storytelling and brand positioning.
