Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Comptroller’s photographer for official events, press conferences and public appearances
  • Support events for senior leadership and internal initiatives/programs
  • Design a wide range of digital/print marketing collateral using the Adobe Suite
  • Assist with determining and delegating work assignments and priorities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least seven (7) years of experience in public relations, social media, and digital communications
  • An Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in communications, English, Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Communications, or similar degree, substituted for two, four, or five years of general experience respectively
  • Promotion: one year of experience as a Public Information Specialist 1 (Digital Content)
  • Photography/design portfolio required

Preferred

  • Experience with Figma and Adobe InDesign
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience developing strategies and concepts for digital media
  • Strong background in UX design and accessibility
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Design portfolio demonstrates photography and design work
