Job Description

Responsibilities

  • act as the Comptroller’s photographer for official events, press conferences and public appearances, as well as support events for senior leadership and internal initiatives/programs.
  • proficiency in the Adobe Suite to design a wide range of digital/print marketing collateral, assistance with determining and delegating work assignments and priorities as well as performing other duties as assigned.
  • This role requires routine travel including evenings and weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • At least seven (7) years of experience in public relations, social media, and digital communications.
  • OR At least one (1) year of experience as a Public Information Specialist 1 (Digital Content).
  • An Associate’s degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Communications, or similar degree, can be substituted for two (2) years of general experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Communications, or similar degree can be substituted for four (4) years of general experience.
  • A Master’s degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Communications, or similar degree can be substituted for one (1) additional year of general experience (not to exceed five (5) years of total experience).
  • Photography/design portfolio required.

Preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience developing strategies and concepts for digital media.
  • Proficient in design software, including Figma and Adobe InDesign.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Portfolio required.
