Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Grow gaming and non-gaming revenue, guest visitation and brand image through promotions and special events for Gun Lake Casino, while adhering to the Company standards, policies, procedures, and team development.
  • Responsible for the creation, management, execution and analyzation of special events and promotions with strategic thought on the financial impact of the business.
  • Utilize and/or acquire data to make informed decisions while maintaining financial and reputational success of the property.
  • Creates, manages, reports, and maintains departmental budget and spend for day-to-day forecast as well as formal presentations.
  • Responsible for proper audit trails and regulatory compliance.
  • Represents the property in a professional capacity at external functions, special events, concerts, promotions, etc.
  • Leads in communicating marketing plans to external departments and ensuring property management team is fully aware of upcoming marketing events.
  • Provide support to team and delegate job duties.
  • Responsible for always practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort’s “Unsurpassed Service Standards.”
  • Maintain a high level of personal integrity on and off duty.
  • Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized, positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Interact with Guests in a friendly and courteous manner and handle all Guest opportunities.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both written and verbally with Guests, Team Members, and Management.
  • Maintain excellent grooming and uniform standards.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with a concentration in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field required. Experience in lieu of education may be considered.
  • Four (4) years of specialized experience in casino advertising, promotions, marketing management or related with at least two (2) years of management experience required.
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule from week to week as business and promotional schedule demands; must be able to work any day of the week on any shift as business levels and staffing determine.
  • Strong public speaking experience is necessary, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to logically and independently plan, organize and complete work.
  • Must obtain a Gun Lake Tribal Gaming License
  • Work experience in the gaming or hospitality industry is preferred.
