Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the marketing and communications central project management software platform, training and supporting team members in the software.
  • Coordinates various projects in the marketing and communications department and with outside vendors, ensuring timely completion of project milestones across multiple teams.
  • Coordinates the creation and production of marketing and communications materials as assigned, including contracting vendors and working with writers, designers, printers, and consulting agency.
  • Processes and distributes data and files across multiple software systems, which includes detailed data entry.
  • Maintains the production and staff calendar for the marketing & communications department.
  • Maintains team documents and resources on shared site.
  • Coordinates with internal team and external vendors to ensure timely production and mailing of receipts to donors.
  • Gathers updates on funding projects and maintains updated copy in a variety of internal and external documents.
  • Maintains internal documentation of security risks around the world to ensure that marketing and communications publications protect at-risk communities.
  • Produces purchase orders for approval and processes invoices for payment as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university desired but not required.
  • Three to four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Training and/or certification in project management is a bonus.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be adept at learning new software tools and must have significant knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Experience with Asana or other project management software is ideal.
  • Other Skills and Abilities: 1. Ability to work independently.
