Project Coordinator (Verizon) - Temporary Position

Summary

The Project Coordinator for Verizon’s Retail Marketing Team is a collaborative role dedicated to supporting the success of our Indirect Channel division. You will facilitate the creation, approval, and execution of in-store signage and point-of-purchase (POP) materials across our extensive footprint of 2000+ Exclusive and 8,000+ Authorized retailers.

Representing a diverse portfolio, predominantly Total Wireless, but also Tracfone, Simple Mobile, and Verizon Prepaid—this role ensures our promotional programs remain industry-leading and competitive. By practicing active listening and gathering feedback from key stakeholders in the company, you will help integrate physical retail strategies to enhance brand representation and elevate the customer experience.

A level of creativity is required to develop effective go-to-market strategies that drive sales. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, using strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate innovation and operational excellence within the Indirect Channel.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Indirect Channel Support: Coordinate merchandising and creative execution specifically tailored for the Indirect Channel, assisting with in-store collateral for 2000+ Exclusive and 8,000+ Authorized retailers to ensure brand compliance.
  • Campaign Facilitation: Support the end-to-end creation, internal alignment, and approvals for in-store signage, POP materials, and quarterly Packouts, helping our brands remain competitive.
  • Feedback & Active Listening: Act as a key point of contact for Brand/Field/Sales teams, utilizing active listening to gather feedback and translate the insights into actionable merchandising updates for the Indirect space.
  • Process Coordination: Assist in implementing process improvements to increase operational efficiency, aligning project streams to support faster speed-to-market for promotional launches.
  • Merchandising Collaboration: Collaborate on the ideation and execution of customer-friendly merchandising solutions and apply creative thinking to develop go-to-market strategies that effectively meet sales goals.
  • Market Research/Store Visits Support: Support the review of the competitive landscape, providing findings to the team to help adapt retail marketing strategies within the Indirect Channel.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate cross-functional communication with internal brand leads, legal, and operations to ensure assets meet compliance guidelines and objectives.
  • Creative Support: Assist in the briefing and development process with creative agencies, ensuring messaging consistency and high-quality production standards.
  • Project Logistics: Maintain and update Retail Marketing calendars to help inter-functional teams stay informed on promotion execution and project statuses.
