Company Description

GOODQUES is a globally recognized, women-founded research and strategy firm named a top company to watch in 2020 and 2021. Known for pairing rigorous qualitative and quantitative research with standout creativity, we help Fortune 500 brands and high-growth startups uncover clear, meaningful insights. Our proprietary approaches turn data into inspired strategies that drive brand growth and innovation.

Our clients include Adobe, FanDuel, Nutrafol, MARS, P&G and other leaders in diverse industries.

About the Role

As our Project & Account Manager, you'll be the driving force behind seamless project execution and exceptional client relationships. You’ll oversee both the strategic and operational aspects of research projects—ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications run smoothly from start to finish.

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive thinker who thrives in both client-facing interactions and internal team coordination. You’ll collaborate with leading brands across categories—whether it’s managing a global research study for a beverage company, coordinating qualitative interviews for a luxury brand, or ensuring smooth execution of a digital insights project for an entertainment platform.

With a mix of strategic oversight, problem-solving, and relationship-building, you'll ensure our clients receive outstanding service while keeping projects on track and teams aligned.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate internal and client-facing meetings, aligning teams, external partners, and stakeholders around project goals, timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships through proactive communication, strategic partnership, and exceptional account management.
  • Own project staffing and resource planning across multiple concurrent studies and initiatives, balancing workloads, forecasting future capacity needs, and identifying hiring or contractor needs before resource gaps arise.
  • Monitor team utilization and project profitability by tracking time allocation, scope changes, budgets, and efficiency across accounts, partnering with leadership to improve operational performance and margins.
  • Oversee end-to-end management of global qualitative and quantitative research projects, including timelines, deliverables, vendor coordination, budgeting, risk management, and competing priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure projects are appropriately staffed based on timelines, complexity, expertise, and business priorities.
  • Analyze project pacing, bandwidth, and workflow trends to proactively identify bottlenecks, optimize team capacity, and improve delivery efficiency.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients by identifying opportunities to expand scope, recommend additional support, and deepen long-term partnerships.
  • Draft and communicate clear project updates, status reports, timelines, and insights to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with vendors and suppliers to coordinate research logistics, fieldwork, recruiting, and other operational needs.
  • Improve and modernize project management and resourcing systems through software, automation, dashboards, and process innovation.
  • Provide operational thought leadership by recommending smarter workflows, staffing approaches, tools, and systems that improve scalability, visibility, and collaboration.
  • Troubleshoot project risks and operational challenges, proactively developing solutions to maintain quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
  • Some travel may be required for client meetings, industry events, and research initiatives.
  • Perform other exciting (yes, exciting!) duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in project management, account management, client services, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with research methods (e.g., quantitative surveys, qualitative research) is a plus.
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts, Saleforce) is beneficial.
  • Strong client communication skills—comfortable presenting, problem-solving, and managing client expectations.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable—able to handle multiple projects and stakeholders at once.
  • Autonomous self-starter who takes ownership of projects with minimal direction.
  • A sharp thinker and crisp communicator, capable of synthesizing complex challenges into clear action plans.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing role that requires agility and relationship management.
