Job Summary

Own content workflow from intake to editors by shepherding raw footage, organizing assets, and coordinating with editors and social teams while helping capture material at events to fuel social programs.

  • Asset governance: categorize raw videos and organize files for editors.
  • Social & community ops: coordinate publishing calendars, monitor comments, and moderate Discord.
  • Content capture & events: support on-site content capture and event logistics for editors and merch.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Watching raw videos from the media team in order to find the best content and categorize it into a spreadsheet for our video editors
  • Identifying teams/cars in raw content
  • Digital asset management (file and folder organization)
  • Coordinate and communicate with editors, media, social, and other team members
  • Help manage the social media publishing calendar
  • Monitor social media comments and mentions
  • Help manage and monitor the driver Discord server
  • Attend wider Final Bout meetings (~1 per month) and provide insights and feedback
  • Assist with social media and community reporting and analysis
  • Attend Final Bout events in-person that are local to you, to assist with content capture, merchandise sales, and event management

Requirements

  • Remote internship
  • Unpaid internship
  • Part-time up to 10 hours per week
  • Availability for weekends, especially Sundays, to organize content
  • Ability to attend Final Bout events in-person that are local to you

  • Passion for cars, and especially grassroots drifting
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Familiarity with drifting culture in the US
  • Video editing experience of any kind
  • Social media and community management foundational understanding
  • Ability to take feedback and direction
  • Free time on weekends immediately after events, Sundays especially to organize content quickly for editors on Monday
  • Comfortable holding a camera and capturing content, especially moving cars
  • Zenki vs Kouki S14 knowledge is a nice indicator of qualification
  • SR20 vs 2JZ knowledge is a nice indicator of qualification
