You will own the institutional go-to-market, turning customer insights into messaging, competitive positioning, and launch-ready materials across product, sales, and growth.

  • Define buyer-centric messaging and enablement for institutional segments
  • Maintain up-to-date competitive positioning and battlecards
  • Translate product launches into clear value for institutions

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Become the Voice of the Institutional Buyer: Develop a deep understanding of how each customer segment thinks, evaluates vendors, and makes decisions, then translate those insights into positioning, messaging, and sales enablement that resonates.
  • Competitive War Room : Own and keep current our competitive positioning against crypto-native data providers and other alternatives (including customers' in-house build option), and arm Sales to win head-to-head evaluations as institutional scrutiny increases.
  • Launch Translation : Partner with Product to turn new capabilities into customer value, ensuring every launch clearly communicates why it matters, who it's for, and why institutions should care.
  • Packaging & Pricing Support : Work with Sales and RevOps to develop language and materials for evolving pricing and packaging motions (e.g. usage-based data plans, trial structures) that reduce friction in enterprise deal cycles.
  • Win/Loss & Account Intelligence : Run structured win/loss interviews across a fast-growing named-account list, and turn what you learn into sharper battlecards, refined ICP definitions, and roadmap input.
  • Research-Driven Proof : Partner with our research/analyst function to package data-driven reports and case studies (e.g. stablecoin and tokenized-asset research) into sales-ready proof points and thought leadership that open doors with new institutional targets.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership : Work daily with Product (translating platform/user feedback into roadmap-informed messaging), Sales/RevOps (pipeline and account rigor), and Growth Marketing (distribution) to keep product truth, market truth, and field execution in sync.

Requirements

  • Experience : 5+ years in product marketing for a technical or data-centric product, ideally with exposure to enterprise/complex sales cycles; experience marketing to banks, asset managers, market infrastructure operators, or other regulated financial institutions is a strong plus.
  • Built for execution at scale, not just strategy : You can produce a steady stream of segment-specific collateral without sacrificing quality. This role is as much about throughput as insight, given how many institutional segments and accounts we're supporting at once.
  • Institutional fluency : Comfortable with the language of custody, settlement, reconciliation, market structure, market surveillance, and compliance. You are able to speak credibly to a compliance officer or a bank's Head of Digital Assets as well as the hands-on developer.
  • Competitive instinct : Enjoys the sharp-elbows work of competitive positioning, building battlecards, running win/loss, and training Sales to win specific deals through competitive brand narrative.
  • Product fluency : Comfortable getting into product and data details; you can sit in a roadmap review or read a data model and translate it into a buyer-facing story.
  • Customer-obsessed : Treats win/loss and customer interviews as a standing habit, versus an afterthought, and uses them to sharpen positioning and influence roadmap.
  • Collaborative operator : Works fluidly with Product, Engineering, GTM, and Growth Marketing as the connective tissue across teams.
  • Curious and data-minded : A "Sherlock & Enola Holmes" level of curiosity to dig into data, uncover insights, and turn them into differentiated, defensible narratives.
  • Blockchain, data infra, & TradFi proficiency : Solid understanding of blockchain technology and how it intersects with traditional financial market structure (payments, custody, trading, settlement), with the ability to communicate fluently with both crypto-native and TradFi, technical and non-technical, stakeholders.
