As a Producer you will scope, define, manage, and lead the implementation of production projects while keeping business requirements in mind and applying best practices. From start to finish, precise communication, delegation and leadership are the necessary requirements for a successful Producer. Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage overall execution, budget and timeline for mid-level budgeted broadcast, video/photo, digital and experiential, including product launches, events, editorial and animation projects.
  • Lead teams through the production process with strong ability to communicate between creative, strategy, technology, account, business affairs and vendor partners.
  • Ensure all proposed creative concepts can be produced within the specified timeframe and budget.
  • Work with creative teams to provide guidance and insight during the ideation process regarding production approaches and solutions.
  • Stay current on best-in-class partners / vendors increasing your partner relationships.
  • Organize and document post-project summary meetings.
  • Build positive relations with the production community.
  • Present Pre-Bids, Pre-Pros and various stages of the work during client meetings.
  • Basic understanding when projects need; NDA, permits, talent releases, usage terms and other rights clearances.
  • Build relationships with Business Affairs as a partner in discovery and throughout the production process. Have basic knowledge of AICP and AICE bid format.
  • Create bid specs and production estimates with clear project deliverables and assumptions.
  • Track and actualize production budgets, working with Business Affairs.
  • Possess basic knowledge of SAG-AFTRA guidelines for shooting and recording of talent, including usage and payment considerations.
  • Coordinate meetings, production notes, hot sheets, status reports, task lists, tracking against production deadlines and milestones.
  • Be the point person for all daily internal and vendor communications, keeping Executive Producer informed on project updates.
  • Mentor interns and junior talent.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of production related experience at creative agency, marketing/comms firm or production company.
  • Proven track record of managing projects successfully.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and tools.
  • Knowledge of AICP bidding guidelines and triple bidding.
  • Strong understanding of the creative process.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and adapt to changing project environments.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning (goals, budgets, schedules and scope).
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perhaps most important, the ability to motivate teams, keep a positive dynamic amongst internal and external partners and understand the dynamics of each unique team member to get the optimum output.
$72,000 - $105,000 per year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
