Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in television and film production or related field or equivalent work experience in commercial, broadcast, or business video production.
  • Four (4) years of job related experience.
  • Experience editing video, processing audio and video compression for Web delivery and multiple formats.
  • Experience with producing and directing a diversity of production types including motion graphics, animation, commercial style video, standard “talking head” videos, and b-roll.
  • Experience maintaining video archives
  • Experience selecting and using stock media.

Preferred

  • University of Phoenix experience, specific to delivering high quality marketing, curriculum, and internal videos.
  • Experience with curriculum design
  • Experience with still photography
  • Experience with budgeting, supervising vendors and crew, and managing deadlines.
  • Ability to take initiative to identify gaps in corporate asset library and acquire new footage/assets.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills with all levels of staff including executive levels.
  • Ability to organize, direct and communicate with crew members in an efficient, clear, and courteous manner.
  • Ability to interview subjects and help them feel comfortable on-camera
  • Ability to execute in fast-paced and complex environment involving multiple subsidiaries, deadlines, conflicting priorities, and simultaneous projects.
  • Innovative thinker able to apply analysis and creativity to problem-solving and solutions.
