Responsibilities

• Provides education regarding hospice and hospice benefits to referral sources, patients and families.
• Uses superior clinical, customer service, and sales skills and knowledge to attract and maintain business relationships in the healthcare industry.
• Assist with public relations outreach through in-services and other involvement in community organizations.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with branch staff and field sales resources.
• Provide Hospice Informational Meetings to patients/families and/or their representatives. Informs patients and their families about the hospice philosophy, goals, and services.
• Guide patients/families and/or their representatives through Election of Hospice Benefit Consent signings.
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources.
• Builds and monitors community, customer, and patient perceptions of Redwood Hospice as a high-quality provider of services.
• Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Administrator and Marketing Director.
