Responsibilities

• Assists in the developing concepts and creating mock-ups.
• Follows project plans and timelines as directed.
• Meets deadline requirements of assigned projects.
• Uses a variety of software programs.
• Assists in designing signs, coupons, PowerPoints, brochures and other marketing materials.
• Helps install window displays and sign installations across campus.
• Supports photo and video shoot logistics such as pre-planning, prepping / steaming apparel, interacting with models on-site, and generally supporting the photographer / videographer.
• Assists in developing material for web pages, interactive media, social media, emails and multimedia projects.
• Must comply with and ensure continued, consistent compliance with all company policies, and federal, state, and local laws/regulations including but not limited to: employment, safety, and health.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in using a Macintosh operating system, and at least one year of experience using graphic software Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is required.
• Must be able to handle a diverse workload of assignments in a timely manner with strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently; demonstrates effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English. Requires the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, guidelines and objectives. Requires the ability to read and comprehend a variety of informational documentation, procedures and correspondence.
• Requires the ability to write correspondence with proper format, punctuation, spelling and grammar. Must be able to communicate effectively using electronic media and in written and verbal forms. Requires the ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees.
• Requires the ability to prepare and analyze numerical figures, create and interpret spreadsheets. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages and decimals.
• Requires the ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out general written or oral instructions. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize work and pay attention to detail.
• Requires good analytical and quantitative skills, and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Must be able to utilize a computer. Requires the ability to use a variety of office machines and equipment.
