Responsibilities

• Visit our Rockford shop approximately twice per week to capture fresh content
• Photograph and film machinery, repairs, fabrication projects, employees and finished products
• Create approximately 3–5 Facebook and Instagram posts per week
• Produce approximately 2–3 reels or short-form videos per week
• Write captions that match each company’s separate voice and audience
• Schedule content through Meta Business Suite
• Create a consistent posting calendar
• Perform basic photo and video editing
• Respond to or flag basic comments and messages
• Organize photos and videos into a reusable content library

Requirements

• Experience creating social media content for a business, organization or personal brand
• Comfortable taking quality photos and videos with a smartphone or camera
• Experience editing short-form videos and reels
• Strong writing, spelling and communication skills
• Able to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery and active fabrication areas
• Able to understand that each business has a different audience and requires a different style
• Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Meta Business Suite, and TikTok
• Reliable transportation to our Rockford location

Preferred

• Experience with manufacturing, industrial equipment, construction, automotive, real estate or short-term rentals is helpful but not required.
