Job Description

We’re looking for a paid media practitioner to help set up, manage, optimize and measure B2B digital marketing campaigns—primarily on paid social and Google Ads channels. Our paid programs focus on brand awareness and demand generation.

You’ll work alongside experts in the areas of earned media, SEO, content, analytics and creative services to build successful integrated campaigns. You’ll serve on dedicated account teams as a Specialist to support Senior Specialists, Campaign Managers and Account Supervisors in the execution of our client’s paid media programs. You will also have the opportunity to mentor Account Coordinators and Assistant Account Executives.

Candidates should have experience with the best practices and trends in PPC, display and paid social marketing, while enjoy being creative and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.

Core Responsibilities:

IM Strategy and Execution

  • Build and manage pay-for-click (PPC) and paid media cost-per-thousand (CPM) plans, primarily with Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta to drive engagement and campaign conversions
  • Adapt corporate KPIs into paid programs supporting demand generation, follower campaigns, event registrations goals, including impression share, engagement and conversions
  • Drive top performing campaigns as programs require; proactively make recommendations across campaigns for targeting, ad copy changes and creative
  • Create compelling campaign copy and content to support a variety of marketing channels (email, website, landing pages, ads)
  • Ability to own organic social media strategy and execution including campaign launches, ongoing optimizations and leading reporting is a plus for the role as there is opportunity to offer support for ongoing organic social media, primarily LinkedIn, across accounts
  • Daily campaign optimization, focusing on reach, frequency and cost per conversion
  • Conduct in-depth keyword and website research, ad grouping and audience targeting
  • Analyze and report on results by goals, channel and creative, including providing ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders
  • Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure creative execution aligns channel specific guidance, priority ad units, animation and prior results, as well as create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Explore new ad units, creative executions & always be testing ways to engage client prospects
  • Plans, executes, and measures experiments and conversion tests, including identifying trends and insights and optimizing spend and performance based on learnings
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies

Reporting

  • Support in ongoing metrics reporting across clients, sharing insights and recommendations via email and live on calls
  • Support in quarterly and campaign planning efforts across paid media, social media, influencer relations, as directed by the Account Supervisor or Campaign Manager

Client Relations

  • Support the team in day-to-day client relations. Become a daily resource to your team and demonstrate client service by providing insights, updates and strategic recommendations pertaining to integrated marketing initiatives, both proactively and reactively; anticipating client questions and proactively offering answers, tapping the team for guidance
  • Support for client in-person meetings, weekly calls and via email by offering smart counsel and proactive ideas
  • Anticipating and meeting internal and external deadlines to ensure deliverables are met on time; only passing “client-ready” work to the Senior Account Executive, Campaign Manager, Account Supervisor, Senior Account Supervisor, or Director for review (i.e., proofed for spelling and grammatical errors, reflective of client positioning/messaging, aligned with client goals/audiences
  • Flagging challenges/barriers to your success proactively to the Campaign Manager, Account Supervisor or SAE
  • Develop and showcase an understanding of the client including its products and services, competition, marketplace and business model; ensure all client and media-facing materials are accurate, comprehensive and aligned with company messaging/positioning (media relations, awards/speaking, content development)

IM Team and Agency Support

  • Manage, respond and resolve helpdesk tickets
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying
  • Potential to support firmwide PANOptic and tool trainings

Minimum Requirements:

  • Central or Eastern Timezone work schedule
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar Integrated Marketing role
  • Hands on experience managing paid social and paid search campaigns
  • Ability to work effectively within a team to develop solutions that emerge from a strategic foundation
  • Confidence in presenting work and ability to interact comfortably with the team and clients
  • Ability to conceive and develop solutions individually as well as in a collaborative environment

  • Strong writer, capable of translating key messaging, brand tenants and tactical information into social content, adapting style and voice to match client brand
  • Proficiency in search and social ad platforms, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and Google Analytics with the ability to plan, launch, optimize and report across these channels; additional channels the candidate is likely to support include paid social media channels (Meta, Reddit, Quora), third party advertising, influencer marketing
  • Experience with account-based marketing and demand generation plus
