Job Summary

Senior Manager, Organic Social Strategy at PepsiCo Creative Studio leads holistic organic social strategies across priority brands, focusing on ecosystem thinking, creator partnerships, and audience-first planning. The role emphasizes leadership, measurement, and collaboration with analytics, creative, and brand teams to continuously refine content systems and distribution.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Organic Social Strategy within the Pepsico Creative Studio to define and lead how PepsiCo’s brands show up across the organic social ecosystem. This role is responsible for architecting social systems that connect content, creators, culture, and distribution into a cohesive, high-impact engine for relevance and growth.
  • Social Ecosystem & Content Strategy:
  • Lead development of holistic organic social strategies across priority brands, grounded in ecosystem thinking, integrating owned content, creator partnerships, cultural presence, and amplification pathways.
  • Develop audience-first social strategies that map priority communities, cultural spaces, platform behaviors, and distribution dynamics to distinct brand roles and objectives, with clear articulation of distinct consumer cohorts and behavioral clusters that shape how content is received and shared at the individual level.
  • Ensure organic social functions as both a relevance driver and a performance feeder to paid and amplified programs
  • Champion volume-with-purpose models where output supports algorithm learning, audience refinement, and performance compounding, recognizing that platforms optimize to individuals and communities rather than broad audiences.
  • Provide strategic direction for creator, talent, and influencer integration to extend brand credibility and relevance within niche and aspirational communities.
  • Capability Building, Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Serve as a senior subject matter authority on platform dynamics, algorithm behavior, content formats, and cultural trends, including fluency in distribution mechanics, format prioritization shifts, and evolving creative structures that influence reach and engagement.
  • Act as a mentor and day-to-day leader for junior social strategists, providing guidance, feedback, and best practice support to elevate the team’s work.
  • Partner with social listening, analytics, creative, and brand teams to ensure alignment across all social initiatives, proactively translating behavioral and cultural signals into strategic refinements and emerging content opportunities.
  • Present strategies, content plans, and performance results to internal stakeholders and brand teams.
  • Measurement & Optimization:
  • Partner with analytics and social listening teams to convert behavioral, cultural, and platform signals into strategic refinements, identifying real-time shifts in cohort behavior and engagement patterns.
  • Lead structured test-and-learn programs across formats, cadence, creators, and cultural participation models.
  • Establish feedback loops where performance insights directly inform content systems, creator strategies, and channel roles.
  • Monitor platform-level changes in format weighting, engagement signals, and discovery mechanics to ensure strategies evolve alongside algorithmic shifts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7-10 years of social media strategy experience within a creative agency or social media-focused role.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with experience crafting and executing platform-specific strategies, including demonstrated knowledge of how algorithms distribute content and how creative format impacts performance.
  • Track record of growing reach/engagement of organic social accounts by implementing social strategy
  • Strong ability to analyze audience behavior and turn insights into actionable, cohort-informed social strategies.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a strong eye for culturally relevant content.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams, present ideas effectively, and foster strong relationships with cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with social analytics tools and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Preferred

  • You are a strategic builder. You think in systems, not just posts, and you’re energized by shaping how brands show up across culture, creators, and platforms at scale.
  • You understand how platform algorithms distribute content to individuals and communities, and you design content systems that align cultural relevance with distribution fluency.
  • You bring a clear point of view, translate insight into action, and know how to lead others while still staying close to the thinking. You balance rigor with creativity, and you’re motivated by building models that last.

Benefits

  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
  • In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health, and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.
