Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to junior team members.
- Oversee workload distribution, ensuring projects are prioritized and deadlines are met.
- Foster a collaborative, supportive environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.
- Act as the main point of escalation for team challenges, resolving issues efficiently.
- Lead regular check-ins and creative reviews to maintain alignment and quality standards.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new social team members.
- Champion team development by identifying skill gaps and recommending training opportunities.
- Lead the development and execution of organic social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth.
- Translate business objectives into creative, channel-specific content strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align social content with broader marketing campaigns.
Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Client-facing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-7 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably within an agency or brand-side digital marketing team.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful social media campaigns that drive engagement and audience growth.
- Strong content creation skills, with proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools.
- Solid understanding of organic social media best practices, algorithms, and platform-specific nuances.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for storytelling and brand voice.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple projects.
Preferred
- Experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
- Understanding of influencer marketing and user-generated content (UGC) strategies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
