Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Shark Fin Shears' social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
• Create and maintain a consistent social media content calendar
• Create, coordinate, and publish engaging content including Reels, TikToks, Stories, carousels, photos, and educational content
• Repurpose long-form educational videos into short-form social content
• Work with educators and stylists to capture content and identify social media opportunities
• Write engaging captions, hooks, headlines, and calls-to-action
• Stay current on social media trends, sounds, formats, and platform changes
• Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement
• Help grow and nurture the Shark Fin Shears professional community
• Develop creative campaigns around product launches, promotions, education, events, and brand initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ year experience required
• Strong interest in digital marketing, social media, and brand management.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and proactively within a team.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube , Pinterest, and TikTok.
