Job Description
  • Follow-up on quotes from suppliers for equipment, etc.
  • Make purchases
    • P-card
    • Boss / iExpense & Sharepoint– US OIE User
    • Purchasing approver?
  • Kronos Admin Access, timecard approval, set schedules, etc
  • Setup Vendor Appointments
  • Respond to cold calls from facilities services
  • i.e. cleaning services
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Answering door
  • Setting up Laptops
  • Taking care of supervised destruct dumpster
  • Hazards and BBS reporting
  • Vendor Contact/Scheduling
  • Maintaining Base Office/Building/Lab Supplies/Purchasing/Inventory
  • Troubleshooting with IT or new computer configuration with IT i
  • Possibly new employee onboarding/orientation. They could handle the IT/computer issues and walk them through our systems.
  • Safety Inspections/Monthly Safety Tasks
  • Backup for other roles such as Sandy if we need more coverage there, or we could kick them to saline production or something along those lines.
  • Manage website/fliers/or other marketing related documents
  • Retain and update employee files
  • Update employee phone number list when needed
  • Invoice, order entry, and procurement backup
  • Put together Lab notebooks
  • Access to SharePoint for new client and client maintenance
  • Document Control: Editing, formatting, posting documents to the CDL.
  • Calibration: Payments, shipping.
  • Training: Back-up to update the training matrices.
  • Access to fob system
    • Be able to check fob times when there are clock in/out issues
    • Support new employee or contactor fob assignment
  • Access for security system

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Language Skills: Advanced written and spoken English
  • Mathematical Skills: Intermediate
  • Reasoning Skills/Abilities: Intermediate
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to follow directions ensuring the end results are accurate and completed with the required timeframe
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as test procedures, literature references, safety rules, operation, and maintenance instructions, and manuals
  • Ability to write in a conventional, professional, and scientific manner in preparing routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of the organization

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
Additional Information

Compensation

The expected salary for this position is $55,000 to $75,000 per year. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
