Job Summary

Own the creation and posting of weekly NY/VT ProStart content, assist with marketing emails, research initiatives, and web updates while supporting event planning and data management.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Creating and posting weekly content for the NY/VT ProStart social media pages
  • Assist with drafting marketing emails
  • Conduct research to support association initiatives
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative ways to promote NYSRA programs
  • Assist with setting up web pages through WordPress
  • Assist the VP of Events with tasks as needed
  • Assist with data management in the association management system (AMS)

Requirements

  • Strong interest in the hospitality industry
  • Enrolled in a program of study related to Marketing or Communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn!
