Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains expert knowledge of the department’s membership acquisition, engagement and retention efforts.
  • Plans and executes renewal and retention strategy for memberships.
  • Collaborates with DOM on design, development and execution of membership marketing campaigns to acquire and retain NWTF members.
  • Executes national membership fundraisers, i.e. sweepstakes, etc.
  • Manages firearm frenzies or similar promotions from execution to completion.
  • Initiates and formats formal agreements in Doc 365 for national membership fundraisers.
  • Develops and maintains a tracking system for national membership fundraiser prizes to ensure delivery to NWTF or to the recipient
  • Develops and maintains systems for tracking results of department activities and helps evaluate the effectiveness of membership marketing strategies.
  • Serves as a liaison for the department to internal and external personnel who collect, fulfill and maintain member and prospect data.
  • Focuses on meeting membership growth targets.

Requirements

  • Specialized knowledge of marketing material production and promotion.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Exceptional project management skills and organization.
  • Strong writing ability.
  • Working knowledge of advertising, promotion, and digital communications, including working with designers and agencies.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, remotely, and meet critical work product deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Nonprofit membership organization knowledge a plus.
