Job Summary

Owns the product knowledge, enables growth, and drives enrollment outcomes for Individual & Family Plan offerings through expert guidance, training, and cross-functional collaboration with brokers, agents, and internal partners.

  • Growth Initiatives: Lead strategic growth programs for the IFP line to boost enrollments and market share.
  • Enablement & Materials: Create training resources, guides, and sales materials for brokers, agents, and internal teams.
  • Operational Readiness & Partnerships: Align enrollment processes and onboarding with internal departments and vendor platforms during open enrollment.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Individual & Family Plan products.
  • Create and execute strategic growth initiatives for the Individual & Family Plan line of business.
  • Provide training and ongoing education for internal marketing representatives, brokers, and agents selling Individual products.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials, training resources, and product guides.
  • Maintain knowledge of legislative updates, regulatory changes, and market trends impacting the Individual insurance market.
  • Provide input and feedback on product design, competitive positioning, and market trends impacting the Individual market.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners, including vendor platforms, to enhance enrollment processes, notifications, and member onboarding experiences.
  • Assist in coordinating operational readiness during the Individual Open Enrollment period.
  • Responsible for identifying new opportunities with health insurance agents, brokers and consultants, and trains, educates and works with them to enhance the appeal of the company and its products being offered.
  • Participate in preparing and conducting special marketing events and community engagement.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of health insurance markets, particularly Individual & Family Plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Must have a current driver’s license and vehicle insurance verification.
  • Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.
  • Successful completion of Motor Vehicle Record Check.
  • Ability to converse and write fluently in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field.
