Media Specialist III

We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem.
The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Media Specialist III to join our team!
The Media Specialist III is responsible for managing and executing media and communication activities that are not specifically categorized under other media or communication roles. This position involves developing, producing, and distributing content across various media channels to support organizational goals and public engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, manage, and distribute media content across print, digital, and broadcast platforms.
  • Support communication initiatives that promote organizational messages and objectives.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure media projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Monitor media trends and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for media projects and campaigns.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Experience in media production, content creation, or communication management.
  • Proficiency with multimedia tools and platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with emerging media trends and technologies.
  • Experience in social media management, digital marketing, or public relations.
  • Knowledge of graphic design, video production, or audio editing.
