Marketing Specialist - Indiana

Responsibilities

• Services existing agencies in assigned territory
• Promotes Madison Mutual Insurance products
• Provides information regarding competitors and market conditions to management on a regular basis
• Works with agents and Underwriting Department regarding compliance with company procedures
• Managing the piloting of our new marketing approach with targeting defined DMA to roll out new products in a new geographical areas
• Appointing and developing new agents within the Indianapolis DMA of sufficient numbers to hit the new business sales goals for the post Transformed Product launch.
• Working with the Regional Training resources to arrange sufficient on-site and virtual training to get all new Indianapolis DMA agents producing new sales within four weeks of appointment.
• Working with existing Indianapolis DMA agents to increase their total MMIC sales volume post-Transformed Product launch to hit statewide increased new business sales goals post Product Transformation.
• Providing Director of Market Development feedback on ramp up efforts effectiveness from unappointed, new, and existing agents sufficient to adjust strategy based on most efficient use of Marketing spend.
• Documenting what works and what doesn't work for replication in other target DMAs as Marketing efforts expands to all states.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 7 years of property & casualty sales/marketing experience as an individual contributor, management role preferred; demonstrated track record of success in sales
• Thorough understanding of Personal Lines insurance.
• Excellent communication skills are essential including interpersonal interactions, and written communications, including follow-through.
• Experience working collaboratively and consultatively with agents.
• Strong knowledge of industry practices and how to partner with external and internal stakeholder.
