Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Client is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to support the Health Plan Operations team.
  • Focus on marketing and communication projects related to regulatory and compliance-driven deliverables.
  • Collaborate with leadership, compliance, legal, and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely communications for health plan members and stakeholders.
  • Draft, edit, and finalize health plan communications while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with compliance, legal, and operational teams to review and approve communication materials.
  • Manage multiple communication projects, timelines, and deliverables with minimal supervision.
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, member-friendly communications.
  • Provide expertise in marketing, communications, and health plan operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing communications, technical writing, or content development.
  • At least 2 years of writing/editing experience in a regulated environment such as healthcare, health plans, or insurance.
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work with minimal training.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, regulatory requirements, and member-facing communications.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting health plan operations or payer communications.
  • Familiarity with CMS regulations, state regulatory guidelines, and healthcare compliance frameworks.
  • Project management and/or vendor management experience.
