Job Summary

Own end-to-end proposals for government-focused work by shaping strategy, content, and cross-functional execution to win high-stakes submissions.

  • Proposal Strategy & Content: Lead kickoff, schedules, and compliant on-time responses for RFQs/RFPs.
  • Pursuit Execution & Pipeline: Align with Principals and BD to plan strategies and track opportunities.
  • Market Positioning & Events: Maintain market insights and oversee events to strengthen client engagement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the proposal process from kickoff through submission, including strategy, schedules, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality, compliant, and on-time responses.
  • Develop, write, and edit compelling proposal content to clearly communicates the firm’s experience, strengths, and value, while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Partner with Principals and Business Development leaders to plan and execute pursuit strategies aligned with firm targets and pipeline priorities.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to pipeline tracking, pursuit planning, and client-specific positioning.
  • Maintain knowledge of markets, clients, competitors, and internal expertise to strengthen positioning and pursuit strategies.
  • Oversee conference participation, industry events, and exhibit opportunities to strengthen brand visibility and client engagement.
  • Continuously improve proposal processes, tools, and content to increase efficiency, quality, and win rates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales or marketing role, preferably within the A/E/C industry.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting the development of marketing team members.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and works well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing deadlines in a fast paced setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience using a CRM system (preferably Salesforce) to manage pipelines, track opportunities, and support forecasting.
  • Familiarity within the architecture/engineering industry and proposal processes is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe Creative Suite.
