Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Candidates are required to perform duties in accordance with the MSCA contract. Duties include teaching, advising, scholarship and contributions to continuously improve the department, BSB, and university. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester and expectations for research are in line with AACSB accredited schools with a similar mission. Regular work schedule includes in-person classroom instruction, office hours, and campus-based professional responsibilities. The position is subject to available funding.

Requirements

  • PhD/DBA in marketing or related discipline from an AACSB or equivalent accredited institution. ABD candidates may be considered if conferred by August 31, 2027.
  • Previous university/college teaching experience. Evidence of teaching effectiveness a plus.
  • Evidence of scholarly productivity or professional impact in pedagogical and applied research in marketing or related fields.

Preferred

  • Experience with and a commitment to teaching a heterogeneous student population with various backgrounds, experiences, and learning styles.
  • A demonstrated record of, or potential for, effective teaching in a variety of instructional formats (e.g., face-to-face, hybrid, online).
  • Practitioner experience in marketing or related fields.
