• What You’ll Do
• As a Marketing Planning Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our strategic marketing planning efforts and ensuring the smooth execution of various campaigns and initiatives. Your main responsibilities involve collaborating with the Category Marketing Planning Manager, merchants, and vendors to execute promotions, marketing assets, and events for Rural King product categories and brands.
• - Ensure accurate and timely execution of promotions across marketing channels.
• - Manage co-op activities, including coordinating with vendors and partners to maximize marketing support and funding opportunities.
• - Ensure compliance with co-op guidelines and requirements.
• - Partner with Purchasing on co-op initiatives.
• - Assist in new store marketing initiatives.
• - Coordinate logistics, promotional materials, and communication related to these activities.
• - Responsible for event coordination with duties to include but not limit to the following: experience in event batch creation, sign creation and proofing, event proofing and testing and managing special event sales and promotions.
• - Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.

Requirements

• - At least 1 year of marketing experience and bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• - Prior experience in marketing operations, marketing coordination, or a similar role is preferred.
• - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills.
• - Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• - Demonstrated behaviors must reflect integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• - Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
• - Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically.
• - Able to navigate and access all facilities.
