Job Summary

Own the sponsorship and events revenue engine for a local market, driving partnerships, events, and brand storytelling with a data-informed, owner-led approach.

  • Events & Community Presence: Own calendar, activations, and attendee growth.
  • Marketing Direction & Brand: Direct contractors and AI tools, set output standards, maintain brand voice.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Sponsorship & Partnerships Revenue (Commissioned): Package, price, pitch, and close sponsorships, on-site media placements, and brand activations with local and regional advertisers.
  • Build this revenue line from the ground up; manage renewals, grow the book, and develop a pipeline to track and forecast.
  • Events & Community Presence: Own the annual events calendar, signature market weekends, seasonal promotions, and community activations; develop strategy and partnerships; Operations handles execution on the ground; accountable for attendance lift, community engagement, and earned media.
  • Marketing Direction: Direct contractors and AI tools across social media, content, website updates, and paid media; set standards, review work, and hold output to a measurable bar; production is contracted out; you lead it.
  • Brand & Reputation: Manage online reviews, ratings, local media coverage, and community relationships; act as the market's commercial voice and protect and grow brand equity.
  • Weekly Scorecard Ownership: Track and report foot traffic trends, campaign performance, sponsorship pipeline, and review ratings; own the numbers and narrative; adjust strategy as needed.

Requirements

  • A seller. You've personally closed sponsorship, advertising, or partnership deals.
  • An organizer. You've owned an events calendar or activation schedule and hit your dates.
  • A director of other people's work. You've managed agencies, freelancers, or contractors to a standard, and you're comfortable using AI tools to multiply your output.
  • Local. Based in or within commutable distance of Jefferson, GA.

Preferred

  • Bilingual preferred. Spanish and English fluency is strongly preferred and required for candidates whose background doesn't otherwise demonstrate deep credibility with Hispanic audiences and advertisers.
