Job Summary

Own timely retail publication support and materials logistics, with a strong eye for accuracy, budgeting, and vendor coordination in a distributed store network.

  • Publication and distribution: proofing through printing to store delivery, plus monthly Zipline/TeamNet comms.
  • Program execution and ops: assist marketing programs, direct shipment, mailroom distribution, and vendor billing oversight.
  • Administrative backbone: keep spend and credit letters in a budget view, and answer team/vendor inquiries to keep promotions moving.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of retail sales publications from the proofing phase through printing and distribution.
  • Assist with retail marketing program implementation and support.
  • Proof all retail marketing related materials to ensure accuracy prior to deployment.
  • Monitor dates to ensure all stores receive materials on time.
  • Coordinate direct shipment of marketing materials from printer to stores.
  • Coordinate with mailrooms for distribution of marketing materials as needed.
  • Supervise vendor billing for participation in programs.
  • Maintain budget spreadsheet of marketing expenditures and credit letters.
  • Develop Zipline and TeamNet communications for monthly sale kits.
  • Provide support (incoming calls, emails, and e-forms) to team members and vendors regarding programs, promotions, flyers, etc.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Requires experience with and knowledge of the following software: Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Must present a professional company image and positive attitude. Comfortable in a TEAM-oriented work environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift packages up to 40 lbs.

Preferred

  • O’Reilly Auto Parts Store experience or equivalent
  • Experience with Microsoft Queries or similar
  • College degree with emphasis in Marketing or Advertising
