Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Orbital’s marketing team, including setting priorities, assigning responsibilities, developing team members, and ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
• Develop and execute Orbital’s annual marketing and communications plan in alignment with company growth objectives.
• Manage and strengthen Orbital’s brand, messaging, and market positioning across all platforms and communications.
• Manage the company website, including content, functionality, user experience, analytics, and ongoing optimization.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve organic search visibility, website traffic, and qualified business opportunities.
• Lead Orbital’s social media strategy, with a primary focus on LinkedIn and other relevant B2B platforms.
• Manage and develop the LinkedIn profiles and thought-leadership strategies of multiple Orbital executives and senior leaders.
• Work directly with executives and subject matter experts to develop industry insights, articles, posts, presentations, and other thought-leadership content.
• Develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns supporting strategic markets, service lines, clients, and business-development initiatives.
• Partner with Business Development and operational leaders to develop marketing materials, case studies, project profiles, presentations, proposals, and client-facing content.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive marketing and communications experience, preferably within engineering, consulting, construction, energy, utilities, industrial, or other B2B professional services environments.
• Previous experience managing or leading marketing professionals required.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies.
• Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, website management, social media, analytics, and content strategy.
• Experience managing executive social media profiles and developing thought-leadership content.
• Experience managing conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, and corporate events.
• Strong writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience working directly with executive leadership and senior business leaders.
• Ability to understand complex technical services and translate them into clear and compelling market-facing content.

Preferred

• Experience using AI and emerging technologies to improve marketing processes and content development is preferred.
