Description  

If you are a results-driven marketer who excels at translating strategy into execution, this role offers the opportunity to drive growth across Copeland’s retail and utility channels. As Marketing & Communications Manager, you will lead integrated marketing programs that elevate brand presence, accelerate demand, and strengthen partnerships across key accounts and sales regions.

This role will support digital marketing, retail activation, and sales enablement within Copeland’s thermostat and controls portfolio.  This includes both Sensi smart thermostats and White-Rodgers thermostats and controls.  

You will partner closely with sales teams, major retail accounts, large utilities/implementers and cross-functional marketing teams to deliver programs that engage consumers and utility partners while leveraging data and insights to continuously optimize performance.

 

As the Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Partner with retail and utility sales teams to develop and execute integrated marketing plans aligned to business priorities and growth targets 
  • Lead digital and retail media activation across key accounts, including Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Walmart, optimizing onsite presence, paid media, and content performance 
  • Own and manage Sensi’s digital ecosystem, including social media channels and website experience, ensuring consistent, high-quality brand engagement 
  • Develop clear, insight-driven creative briefs and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver campaigns across paid search, social, email, and content marketing 
  • Drive content strategy and execution tailored to specific audiences, channels, and stages of the customer journey from awareness through adoption 
  • Support SEO, website optimization, and product listing enhancements to deliver a best-in-class digital customer experience 
  • Partner cross-functionally to support Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) needs across retail and utility channels 
  • Leverage data, analytics, and market insights to identify opportunities, optimize campaign performance, and drive measurable results 
  • Manage agency partners, budgets, and timelines to ensure high-quality execution on time and within scope 
  • Communicate marketing strategies, performance, and key insights to stakeholders across sales, marketing, and leadership 

 

Required education, experiences & skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 
  • 6+ years of experience planning and executing integrated marketing programs across multiple channels. 
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering campaigns on time and within scope. 
  • Experience managing program budgets, agency partners, and small teams. 
  • Ability to leverage data and insights to identify opportunities and optimize marketing performance. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present strategies and results to stakeholders. 
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly solve challenges/problems 
  • Ability to manage and grow relationships with cross-functional teams 

 

Preferred education, experiences & skills

  • Master’s degree in business management or marketing 
  • Experience with digital asset management (DAM), product information management (PIM), and marketing automation tools. 
  • Experience supporting utility programs or demand response initiatives, or working within regulated/energy-related industries 
  • Experience either working with or at mid to large-sized marketing and/or digital agencies. 
  • Experience with project management tools (i.e., Monday.com) 
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and lead management processes  
  • Working knowledge of SEO/SEM strategy, including keyword planning, content optimization, and search performance measurement

This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.
