Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Execution: Direct the implementation of comprehensive marketing plans to drive growth across print, web, and e-commerce channels.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and coach the day-to-day operations of internal marketing staff, including hiring and performance management.
  • Digital Evolution: Leverage modern marketing tools, CRMs, and web analytics to deliver, measure, and optimize campaign ROI and content architecture.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze market research, competitor behavior, and consumer trends in the library sector to deliver actionable reporting.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner closely with sales teams to build high-stakes proposals/bids and coordinate with product management to oversee successful new product launches.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a highly related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive marketing leadership experience with a proven track record in revenue growth.
  • Supervisory: 1–3 years of direct team management and supervisory experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with e-commerce platforms, content management systems (CMS), CRM software, and web analytics tools (such as GA4).

Preferred

  • Prior marketing experience within the B2B SaaS, publishing, or manufacturing sectors.
