Responsibilities

• Own the paid acquisition engine — the paid channels, performance metrics, and testing infrastructure that turn marketing spend into efficient, scalable growth across our consumer and commercial business lines.
• Drive full-funnel growth. Own the media mix and budget allocation across channels, set bidding and pacing strategy, and continuously reallocate spend toward the highest-efficiency opportunities.
• Build rigorous measurement and experimentation. Own attribution, CAC/LTV modeling, and incrementality testing; run a disciplined test-and-learn program across audiences, offers, and channels.
• Partner on high-performing creative. Brief Creative and agency partners on what's working in-market, and run a rapid creative-testing cadence to keep performance improving.
• Optimize the conversion funnel. Partner with Product and Growth on landing pages, checkout flow, and onboarding to lift conversion rate and improve payback period.
• Build the commercial acquisition motion. Partner with Sales and Business Operations to build paid lead-generation and co-marketing programs that fill the pipeline for partner and enterprise buyers.
• Operate with rigor. Own CAC, ROAS, and payback targets, manage budget and pacing across channels, and report performance with clarity to leadership.
• Turn data into advantage. Partner with Analytics and Data Science to understand what's driving (and limiting) efficient growth, and translate that insight into targeting, channel, and creative decisions.
• Apply learnings forward. Build Mill's growth playbook so each channel, cohort, and campaign compounds on the last.

Requirements

• 8 to 12+ years of marketing experience, with deep, hands-on expertise in growth or performance marketing across paid social, paid search, and programmatic channels.
• A track record of building efficient, scalable acquisition engines for new products or categories, with demonstrated command of CAC, LTV, and payback economics.
• Experience owning a paid media budget and performance targets, with the operational rigor to manage pacing, bidding, and ROI in real time.
• Fluency with attribution, analytics, and experimentation — comfortable designing and reading incrementality tests, not just dashboards.
• Fluency partnering with Creative, Analytics, Data Science, and external agency and media partners to ship and iterate on high-performing campaigns.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, moving from strategy to execution without waiting for perfect information.
• Strong resonance with Mill's mission and values, and a belief that growth and impact are mutually reinforcing.
• Fluency in common collaboration, analytics, and project management tools (Google Suite, Excel, Notion / Coda, and paid media/analytics platforms).
