Marketing Intern (Student Ambassador)

Responsibilities

• Attend local private dinners hosted by Empowerly, representing the company to prospective students and families.
• Share your personal Empowerly story in an authentic, compelling way at local events.
• Periodically travel to in-person meetings to create content with our social media team.
• Develop unique and effective outreach campaigns with the Events team to share your Empowerly story with your personal networks.
• Create engaging social media content (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) that reflects your experience with the Social Media Content team.
• Pitch and execute ideas for webinars, events, and social media campaigns by and for Empowerly students.
• Advise the Events and Lifecycle Marketing Teams around local context, event creation, and lead engagement in your area.
• Help manage lead capture processes and data entry into CRM systems.
• Share feedback and insights on what students and families care about.

Requirements

• Currently residing in, or willing to travel to, the Bay Area, Boston, New York City, or Princeton.
• Experience in community building and organizing events around specific causes, communities, or goals.
• Experience creating social media content that keeps on top of current trends on Instagram and TikTok.
• Comfortable sharing your Empowerly experience in personal and professional networks and settings.

Preferred

• Experience with HubSpot, Airtable, or WordPress.
• Video editing experience.
• Local geographical knowledge of the Bay Area, New York City, Boston, or LA.
