Responsibilities

• Manage social media channels with engaging content that gets people talking
• Utilize an extensive photo library to create regular social media posts
• Design eye-catching promotional materials for our amazing events
• Be part of the action by providing onsite support at special events (set up/breakdown activities, staffing booths, and managing volunteers)

Requirements

• A fun-loving attitude and genuine passion for supporting intersectional Black, LGBTQIA+, and IPOC underserved communities
• Experience in event planning marketing or social media management is preferred but not required - enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Flexibility in working hours, weekend and evening availability - the Pride Center is open 11 AM to 7 PM daily, and our evening events sometimes run until 9 PM.
• Must have access to reliable phone and internet during work hours
• A computer, mobile phone, and strong internet during work hours are required for this position.
