Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Catering & Events Team to Plan, budget, and execute weddings and events
  • Understand clients' needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with vendors, including florists, caterers, photographers, and entertainers
  • Manage event timelines and schedules, ensuring everything runs smoother
  • With the Banquet Manager, oversee event setup and breakdown, making sure every detail is executed to perfection
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for each event
  • Build BEOs to communicate functions and needs with other operational departments
  • Accurately invoice, collect payment, and follow up with any outstanding
  • Create and maintain marketing content such as ad copy or social media posts
  • Coordinate meetings with marketing partners and executive team members to discuss campaigns
  • Update and gather marketing data to create reports and present significant information
  • Attends team meetings to discuss upcoming sales goals and initiatives
  • Monitors marketing trends and company social media accounts and webpage
  • Conduct search engine optimization (SEO) research
  • Work closely with the PR company to ensure maximum exposure
  • Qualification:
  • Proven experience as a Marketing & Events Coordinator or similar role is preferable
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of conference and event trends and best practice
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools
  • Marketing experience and knowledge of digital platforms
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools
