Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Local & Regional Business Development: - Support local and regional business development initiatives for assigned offices and markets. - Partner with office leadership and attorneys to identify and execute opportunities to grow client relationships and expand market presence. - Assist with client targeting, tracking, and follow-up for local and regional business development efforts. - Support pitch, proposal, and client team initiatives for regional opportunities.
  • Coordination With Firmwide BD & Marketing - Work closely with firmwide Business Development and Marketing teams to implement firmwide initiatives locally and regionally. - Serve as a regional point of contact for firmwide campaigns, programs, and client development efforts. - Ensure alignment with firmwide strategy, branding, and messaging while tailoring execution for regional markets.
  • Client Alerts & Local/Regional Communications - Support the development, coordination, and distribution of local and regional client alerts and communications. - Assist attorneys with content formatting, targeting, and distribution to maximize engagement and impact. - Track basic performance metrics and provide reporting on client communications.
  • Events & Event Planning - Plan, coordinate, and execute local and regional client events, CLE programs, webinars, receptions, and firm-hosted programs. - Manage all event logistics including venues, vendors, catering, invitations, registration, on-site support, and post-event follow-up. - Ensure events align with business development goals and practice group strategies. - Must be able to travel for meetings or trainings as required.
  • Sponsorships & Community Engagement - Manage local and regional sponsorship opportunities in alignment with firmwide priorities and regional market strategies. - Coordinate fulfillment of sponsorship benefits, including branding, attendee engagement, and attorney participation. - Track sponsorship ROI and maintain regional sponsorship calendars and budgets.
  • Business Development & Client Support - Support regional client development initiatives, including follow-up, relationship tracking, and opportunity identification. - Assist with regional pitch and proposal efforts as needed. - Maintain regional marketing materials, office-specific content, and local market collateral.
  • Reporting, CRM & Administration - Track regional marketing and business development activities, budgets, and results. - Support CRM updates, contact management, and reporting related to regional efforts. - Maintain internal tracking for events, sponsorships, and regional initiatives.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • - 2–4 years of experience in professional services marketing and/or business development (law firm experience strongly preferred).
  • - Demonstrated experience supporting events, sponsorships, client communications, and business development initiatives.
  • - Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
  • - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, professional environment.
  • - Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM, email marketing, and event management platforms preferred.
  • - Experience working with attorneys or in a large professional services environment.
  • - Familiarity with law firm business development practices, client alerts, and CLE programs.
  • - Strong attention to detail with a client-service mindset.
